Hey lovelies!

If you know me personally, then you'll be aware of the issue I suffer from every time that I wash this mane of mine...Hagrid hair. It's that dreaded look you get when you've just been out in the rain and the wind is really strong. I can continue to paint you a picture but I think we both know that it's not looking good.

This post is my way of embracing my somewhat "stylishly" messy hair and by pairing it with this gorgeous liquid lipstick by Kat Von D in the shade 'Lolita II', I was able to look more put together than usual! The moment I put this colour on my lips, I fell in love with both the shade and the consistency of it, as well as the fact that it lasted practically all day. I would definitely recommend purchasing a few of these liquid lipsticks to add to your makeup collection!

Let me know in the comment section down below what your favourite liquid lipsticks are and if you too suffer from the dreaded case of 'Hagrid Hair'...I'll welcome you to the club, no problem.

XOXO

P.S. If you want super shiny hair that lasts for longer, pick up the John Frieda Luxurious Volume 7 Day Shampoo and Conditioner. I used them both the day before I took these photos and I must say, my hair looks incredibly smooth. Give them a try! (Not sponsored)

Hey lovelies!

Spring is here! I'm so happy that the weather is FINALLY brightening up - the sun is out and there's that fresh breeze in the air. I may be an Autumn baby but boy do I love the Spring and Summer months. I love the fact that everything just feels better, our moods included, and life gives you a break for a little bit.

This look shown right here was custom made by my sister, The Skinny Hot Choc, and she absolutely nailed it! The way that she chose to make my eye colour pop was so cool and I definitely bow down to her for her creative streak.

I just want to say that I hope my cheesy grin makes at least one of you happy out there - I was feeling particularly jolly this day haha! I was going through all of the photos that I took and it's safe to say that a lot of them look like the ones I used in this post. Say cheeeeeeeeese!

XOXO

P.S. For a full breakdown of the products she used on me, head on over to her blog or click here for a direct link to her post on this exact look!

Hey you beautiful people!

It has certainly been awhile since I last posted a review of a product but after seeing this colour correcting palette by Maybelline not so long ago, I thought I would give it a try.

My skin has been particularly unfavourable in the last couple of weeks and quite honestly it has not wanted to heal itself. I've been left with redness and uneven skin and I really don't like it, I mean who would? Thankfully though, in the last couple of days, I've left my skin to breathe and I'm slowly seeing some progress!

I've always found it relatively difficult to cover up my blemishes because when my skin is red, it's going to stay red...for as long as it wants (*rolling eyes emoji*). This, however, gave me the perfect opportunity to use the Maybelline Master Camo Corrector - Light.

I must say that it worked really well! The corrector shades, especially the green shade, covered up the majority of my redness and gave me an even base to then move onto the next stage - concealing any dark areas. Now, my under-eyes are not what they used to be. A combination of late nights working and just late nights in general have left me with dark circles. I can't help but giggle as I write this, I genuinely sound like my face has been through the wars - it's not that bad I promise hahaha! Anywho, these shades worked well but I still found myself reaching for my Maybelline Fit Me! Concealer in the shade 15 because the two included in the palette looked a little too dark for me.

The highlight shades, on the other hand, were really pretty but considering that I'm not a massive fan of piling on the highlighter, I chose to apply just a little bit. It sure gave me a nice glistening look on my browbones and on the tops of my cheeks. Perfect!

For your benefit, I've made sure to include a couple of pictures so that you can see how well this palette managed to conceal, correct and highlight my skin.

XOXO

P.S. Let me know in the comments down below if you've also tried this product out. What did you think of it?

Hey my lovelies!!

You might know already, but music is a huge part of my life and without it, I wouldn't really know where I would be. I definitely think that it's one of those things that has the ability to make you feel every emotion possible and in that sense, it can be quite powerful. Most of the time, however, I don't like feeling sad so I tend to opt for the more upbeat songs that simply channel pure happiness.

Whenever I come home from uni, the house is never quiet but instead it's filled with the beautiful sound of music. Ahhh there's nothing better! I mean, don't get me wrong, we all need a bit of down time to relax in peace but for the most part, I require time to jam out in my bedroom or living room otherwise I'll go stir crazy! This girl needs to be having a great ol' time all the time hahaha!

The songs I've included down below are ones that never fail to put me in a good mood, so without further ado...

Here are 20 of my favourite feel-good songs:

1. Perfect Strangers - Jonas Blue feat. JP Cooper.
2. All You Are Is History - State Champs.
3. Can't Hold Back - Kiko Bun.
4. Shape of You - Ed Sheeran. 💘
5. Human - Rag'n'Bone Man.
6. Lovely Night - La La Land.
7. I Got You (Acoustic) - Bebe Rexha.
8. Chained To The Rhythm - Katy Perry feat. Skip Marley.
9. Thief - Ansel Elgort.
10. You Don't Know Me - Jax Jones feat. RAYE.
11. Believer - Imagine Dragons.
12. I Could Use A Love Song - Maren Morris.
13. Galway Girl - Ed Sheeran.
14. Drink You Away - Justin Timberlake.
15. Hey Ma - Pitbull and J Balvin feat. Camila Cabello.
16. Down - Marian Hill.
17. That's What I Like - Bruno Mars.
18. Swalla - Jason Derulo feat. Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla $ign.
19. Little Bit Of You - Chase Bryant.
20. Heart Afire - Defqwop feat. Strix.

I'm sure that whether you love listening to a good beat or awesome lyrics, you'll be able to find a song here that you like - I have a very diverse taste in music so enjoy!

XOXO

Hey my lovelies!

Yes. It's that time again. Valentine's Day is fast approaching and regardless of whether you're single or not, I guarantee we're all worrying about something. I have this image in my head of three groups of people: the happy couples, those wishing they had a significant other but don't so they (understandably) sit in self-pity, and then those who really don't care about the fact that they're single. I just want to say, I feel you...all of you.

I must admit that sometimes I'm slightly cynical about the 14th of February but for the most part, I find it all so damn cute. I love hearts, I love chocolates and I love flowers! I am, what they call, a hopeless romantic. I will happily sit on the sofa and watch rom-coms all day. I must admit, however, that I was an honorary member of the self-pity club for a small part of my life but then I realised, there's no point in being jealous or upset because regardless of whether you have someone or not, Valentine's Day is a day about love, even if it is just for your family and friends.

Whilst we're on the topic of love, I have created a classic look that I'm hoping you will all fall in love with. First of all, I need to say that I'm so thankful for eyeliner because it really does make any look pop. I think that it's one of those products that is so effortlessly timeless that you can't help but reach for it when you do your makeup; I know I couldn't help myself! Red lipstick, on the other hand, is always a must for Valentine's Day and I know that's a total cliché but just like the winged eyeliner, it's a statement product for any of you makeup lovers out there, plus red is a colour that has stood the test of time and is too considered one of the classics.

Hopefully you've managed to get some inspiration! If you decide to recreate this look then please tag me because I would love to see your photos. Also, let me know your thoughts about Valentine's Day in the comment section down below, do you love it or do you hate it?

XOXO

P.S. I've realised, just by looking at these pictures, that I am in desperate need of a tan...I apologise for the somewhat snow white complexion.
