Super Simple Sparkle!

Hey my lovelies!

I feel as though it's been a while since I've done a beauty post and so I decided that I should go ahead and show you a very simple and easy New Years Eve/New Years Day makeup look! This will be sure to leave you with plenty of time to get ready whilst allowing your eyes to sparkle and shine in the festive lighting.

The Accessorize Exposed palette, as you probably know, is my absolute go-to for my everyday looks. I have recently been experimenting with and mixing various shades to create a whole new look and luckily the results have been beautiful!

Lets get into it:

1. To begin the look, I applied my Maybelline Fit Me! concealer under my eyes, to hide any dark circles, and on any blemishes that I had and then set it with the Maybelline Fit Me! setting powder.

2. I then went ahead and applied my Avon mineralised powder foundation, making sure to bring it down my neck so that it all matched.

3. I lightly contoured by applying the Hoola bronzer by Benefit just below my cheekbones, the top of my forehead and my jawline (to add some definition).

4. For my cheeks, I used Benefit's blusher called Dandelion in order to have that essential sweet pop of colour, leaving me fresh-faced and dewy.

5. After finishing my face makeup, I went ahead and defined my brows using Benefit's Gimme Brow in Light/Medium which helped to properly frame my face by giving my brows a nice shape.

6. For my eyes, I made sure to use two very pigmented eyeshadows on the lid. The first was a super shimmery white eyeshadow and the second was a shimmery taupe shade - both of these mixed together gave a very powerful sparkle to the overall look.

7. However, just so that the eyeshadow on the lid could have a smoother transition, I applied a medium brown eyeshadow as the crease colour and then highlighted my brow bone and inner corners with a pale pink shimmery eyeshadow.

8. To finish off the eyes, I applied my Maybelline The Colossal Cat Eyes Volum'Express mascara.

9. Finally, I applied the Maybelline Super Stay 14hr lipstick in Beige For Good and there you go, all done!!

XOXO

Timeless

Hello my beautiful, beautiful people!

If you don't know already, I am completely in love with Old Hollywood movies! I have watched these types of films for such a long time! My dad's love for Cary Grant influenced me and opened my eyes to a whole new world. Inevitably, I grew to love the awe-inspiring fashion of that era and the stun-ning women too!

This post is basically a way of showing you all the actresses that I, either, grew up watching or have had me simply lusting after every single item that they wore! Hopefully, you can get some inspiration from and learn a thing or two about the classic style that is Old Hollywood glamour, mwah!

XOXO

P.S. Let me know in the comments down below which one of these beautiful women inspired you...

Winter Shimmer

Hey lovelies,

It's so near Christmas that I can't contain my excitement!! I'm really curious to know about some of your Christmas traditions, I find it so interesting and heart-warming to hear about all the things that families do together to celebrate the day - if you can, let me know in the comments down below!

This is the very last post in my New Look mini haul and what better item to top it off with than this beautiful sparkly turtleneck with cut-outs on the arms! I absolutely adore this top just because of its serious case of festive fever and the fact that you really cannot go wrong with a turtleneck - I've just decided that now haha! This outfit gives you that runway glam look without having to put in a lot of effort because thankfully the top speaks for you and so does the deeper lipstick!

XOXO

P.S. Please tell me that there are more than just a handful of you that have sparkly clothes in your wardrobe...

Perfect Christmas Party Outfit :D

Burgundy Vibes

Hey lovelies,

The New Look mini haul continues! This was the second item that I purchased whilst on my shopping trip and I'm happy to announce that I am officially a fan of turtlenecks because for awhile I was seriously doubting ever buying one for myself simply because I believed that it wouldn't suit me.

The burgundy colour of this turtleneck just screams Fall/Winter and with Christmas coming up soon, it will definitely make you look even more festive! This piece is perfect for those colder days when you're not quite feeling up to bundling up the layers so, all you need to do is put on a cosy scarf, leather jacket, comfy jeans and a pair of slip-ons shoes - voilĂ !

The makeup that I applied for all of these looks is super simple to recreate and mainly relies on the lips for that pop of colour that we all need. Here, I used the lipstick "Brick-o-La" by MAC to match my turtleneck and add to that Christmassy feel...

XOXO

P.S. What item of clothing have you been scared to buy? Take the plunge and give it a try, you might be pleasantly surprised!

Suedette

Hey my lovelies!!

I've missed you!! I hope that you are all having a great start to your week and are looking forward to spending a long relaxing week with your family and friends! I am so excited to just curl up on the couch with my mum and watch Christmas films - however cheesy they are - with some candles burning in the background. I love this time of year mainly because of how close everyone becomes - I often find that I get very sentimental and emotional about practically everything!!

Nevertheless, I am here with a brand new post! I recently went on a shopping trip and managed to pick up a few beauties from New Look because, where else would I shop?! This suede top made it onto my list of necessary purchases just because of the fact that I was seriously lacking some suede in my life! This top is oh-so-comfy and goes with absolutely everything; I paired mine with black skinny jeans, slip-ons, simple jewellery and, for some added detail and edge, my black leather jacket.

Let me know in the comments down below what your go-to store is!

XOXO

P.S. Stay tuned for more posts on my recent purchases from New Look and how I've worn them...
