Hey lovelies!
Nothing says festive or Christmas like a sparkly lid, nude lips and a red dress, am I right ladies? I honestly wish that I had more excuses to get this dressed up and paint the town rose gold with this Helen E Cosmetics glitter pigment! Before you say anything though, I know that I've spoken about this glitter pigment a lot but it has got to be one of the best ones that I've ever seen or worn in quite a while - no exaggeration!
Now, off the record, party looks are a bit hit and miss with me. I'm just putting it there because I have seen some looks that are so over the top that it borders on human disco ball and whilst that's fun and all, I find it to be slightly obnoxious and a bit of a cliche. With that said, there is a way to go about things that can prevent you from looking like a little kid that has been let loose on the glitter during their spontaneous art sessions!
I have partnered up with Elena Pylarinos MUA once again to bring you a few festive glittery looks that you will hopefully love and better yet, they feature a few shades that may leave you questioning whether or not you should be reaching for those matte shades that, realistically, you can wear any time of the year! Throughout this mini three-part series, you might see me branching off into my own personal area of "the unknown" seeing as some of these pigments are a little bold even for me but by the end you'll be able to watch me slowly become a little more obnoxiously festive than we might have liked, I hope you're looking forward to that...!

Hey lovelies!
My goodness was that a well-needed break after Blogtober! I know that I published a blog post soon after the series ended but, in all honesty, I was feeling a huge whirl of emotions ranging from confusion to tiredness and then somehow feeling as if I had a suddenly had run out of blog post ideas - now that is a scary emotion! I guess there was just a lot of pressure in such a condensed period of time that meant I was unfortunately left just a little worse for wear!
Today's post however is super festive but certainly one that I believe is whole-heartedly necessary now that December is on it's way! Once again, you can see that one of the gorgeous Helen É Cosmetics glitter eyeshadow pigments has been used on my eyes by the wonderful Elena Pylarinos MUA who treated me to another makeover that I've decided to call "Coffee Talk".
Personally, I think that the brown tones are a must for this time of year as they enable you to indulge in the rich mysterious look that they give your eyes, much like our behaviour with advent calendars where we're meant to open a door each day but end up realising that we're not entirely caught up and "force" ourselves to eat the chocolates all in one day! Pffft such a chore right?!
I must admit that the upcoming month will not only consist of Christmas outfits, sparkly makeup and plenty of party ideas but also a whole bunch of looks that feature glitter eyeshadow just like 'Penny Copper', which is one of my all-time favourites and can also be found in my Sunset Eyes post from this Summer. I simply can't get enough of the way this eyeshadow sparkles in the light and the fact that it has the power to instantly make any look a whole lot more festive, and that's exactly what we need as Christmas approaches!
Be sure to let me know what you think of this look! Are you in love with the coffee brown tones or prefer a more subtle look? Let's chat in the comment section down below!

| DAY THIRTY ONE |
Hey lovelies!
Oh my goodness, today is the very last of Blogtober and I don't know whether to laugh or cry! There have been so many exciting moments and so many tense ones too with trying to get content published at a reasonable time eeeek! Nevertheless, Halloween is upon us and I hope that you're all having a fabulously spooky night and trick or treating even if you might be just a tad too old for it!
Today I'm bringing you a post inspired by yesterday's Halloween look! You might have recognised this eyeshadow look and felt that maybe creating an entire beauy post for it is a little excessive but I had the photos and thought that I would put all the Blogtober related content with the Blogtober days and we're on number thirty one! I personally loved the eyeshadow look that I had in the Unzipped Glitter Mermaid and decided to recreate it on my other eye and turn it into a more normal/wearable makeup look, well as wearable as bright pink could be on the eyes!
I especially love how the pink blended so well with the purple and the smidge of blue in the crease and really reminded me of those deep cotton candy coloured skies you get when the sun sets. In all honesty, I had a bit of trouble coming up with a title for this blog post but I feel that it worked well with the idea of sweets and just confectonery in general so I went with that hahaha! Before you leave, make sure to let me know in the comment section down below, what you think of this look or better yet, tell me how your Halloween is going? I want to hear all your stories, have you got any scary ones?!
XOXO

| DAY THIRTY |
Hey lovelies!
Guaranteed if you're either more of a girly girl or just not that into Halloween, you're less likely to go for a gruesome, scary look or even dress up at all! Today I am bringing you the Unzipped Glitter Mermaid which incorporates plenty of sparkle, super girly colours and a little bit of jewels here and there so that you can at least honour the occasion but also feel like a more dressed up, snazzy version of yourself on Halloween!
I LOVE this look and admire just how much work and imagination goes into creating something so amazing! I find it so funny how the concept can change throughout the process of bringing a look into existence because it's all about playing around, getting a feel for what will and will not work and often understanding that your final look may end up being even better than your original idea! Thankfully everything tied together so well and the wig, oh my goodness the wig was incredible, completed the look effortlessly and in a way that meant that I didn't have to try as hard in the photos hahaha!

Frustratingly, however, the zip was having a bit of a hard time sticking into the corner of my eye! The amount of spirit gum applied would've meant that the zip would have stuck down properly anywhere else but the angle proved to be the cause of the zip just not wanting to cooperate! The thing is, even with this little annoyance for Elena who was once again my makeup artist, she still managed to keep going and create this super cool glitter mermaid look with the zipper that is often featured in a lot of Halloween looks these days, especially on her Instagram! SO COOL!
I would really love if you left me a comment down below letting me know what you think of this look? Will you be recreating it for Halloween or do you like something a bit more gruesome? Let's chat lovelies!
