Hey my lovelies!!

I've been busy, busy, busy! I don't particularly like using that as an excuse as to why I haven't been posting as regularly as I should be but it's been one of those months where life has simply gotten in the way. My heart breaks everytime I come up with a new idea and don't necessarily have the time to put my all into making it into a great post.

Inspiration strikes me at the weirdest times and that may be the case for a lot of you. I am definitely not someone who publishes any old thing just so that I can say "Oh yeah I've posted something, that should tide me over until next week". I'm so passionate when it comes to my blog and I want everything that I put on here to be my best piece yet, quality over quantity right? I have so many ideas for new blog posts and I hope that in the very near future I will finally be able to show them to you!

One last thing, if you didn't know already, I'm in my second year of university and for those of you who have had the experience of this know exactly what I'm talking about...endless essays and many, many deadlines. The struggles of a student are often hard to deal with and maybe I'll write a post on it (if you want to see that) but, in the meantime, I will be getting that much needed balance that is required in my life.

Don't worry, you'll be hearing from me again very soon!

Love you all!

XOXO

Hey my lovelies,

There are so many songs that I am completely in love with and it's ridiculous just how happy they make me! I'm going to be honest and say that it would be very easy for me to just copy and paste or even screenshot my liked videos on YouTube but instead I'm going to tell you all of my favourite songs that I've loved listening to this Summer.

Let's jump into it!

1. Side to Side - Ariana Grande feat. Nicki Minaj.
2. No Broken Hearts - Bebe Rexha feat. Nicki Minaj.
3. Kids - One Republic.
4. Cold Water - Major Lazer feat. Justin Bieber & MO.
5. Closer - The Chainsmokers feat. Halsey.
6. We Don't Talk Anymore - Charlie Puth feat. Selena Gomez.
7. Watch Me Rise - Mikky Ekko.
8. From Paris to Berlin - Infernal (an oldie but a goodie).
9. One Dance - Drake feat. Kyla & WizKid (you'll always catch me dancing to this one).
10. Needed Me - Rihanna.
11. Pumping (Out of My Speakers) - IV Rox feat. Sneakbo.
12. Wherever I Go - One Republic.
13. Charlemagne - Blossoms.
14. Let Me Love You - DJ Snake feat. Justin Bieber.
15. Kill Em With Kindness - Selena Gomez.
16. Middle - DJ Snake feat. Bipolar Sunshine.
17. I'm in Control - Aluna George feat. Popcaan.
18. This is What You Came For - Calvin Harris feat. Rihanna.
19. Hymn for the Weekend - Coldplay feat. Beyonce.
20. Stressed Out - Twenty One Pilots.
21. Treat You Better - Shawn Mendes.
22. Who Knows - Ady Suleiman (Cover of Protoje).
23. Toothbrush - DNCE.
24. Roses - The Chainsmokers feat. Rozes.
25. Pay My Rent - DNCE.

I really tried to keep it to a minimum but then I kept remembering more and more of my favourite songs...the list could seriously go on.

XOXO

P.S. Let me know in the comment section below what some of your favourite songs were for this Summer, maybe I'll add a few of them to my playlist.

Hey my lovelies,

Welcome back to another makeup post! I got back from Venice over a week ago and have slowly been getting back into the swing of things. This makeup look is one that I have absolutely fallen in love with especially the purple eyeliner and the gorgeous lip colour! This look would be perfect for a date night with the simple lip that will leave the eyes to do all of the talking.

I helped my blogger sister The Skinny Hot Choc in creating this look as I sat there and guided her every now and then with which product to choose next. We had a lot of fun and love how it turned out! I'll list the products we used at the end of the post and hopefully some of you will go ahead and recreate it for yourselves.

XOXO

P.S. If you do try out this look, make sure to tag both I and my sister in it so we can see! You'll find my social media links over on the right and as for my sister, you can find her Instagram page and Twitter page right here!

Hey my lovelies!

My wishlist seems to grow every single time I browse both the ASOS and New Look websites. They are definitely two of my go-to stores for all the latest fashion and they somehow always seem to get better and better! I have sorted through the new lines that they have brought out and picked my absolute favourite items to share with you. I'll definitely be pulling inspiration from these pieces for future outfits of mine, hopefully you can too!

Hey my lovelies!

Now, I need to get something straight. I am definitely one of those girls who likes to revel in natural looks and apply her makeup in reasonable amounts but for awhile now I have wanted to create a dramatic look.

I'm going to admit that however much I try, I'm not very skilled in that department. I try my very best, to say the least, but I think it's something that equates to that moment in primary school where you have all the paint pots laid out in front of you and you sit there trying to figure out what colours you're supposed to mix to make purple. In other words, you have to be able to know which eyeshadow shades look great together, otherwise you resort to looking like a racoon (damn the black eyeshadow) or as if you've gotten into a full on fist fight with a complete stranger. Thankfully my blogger sister and founder of The Skinny Hot Choc was an absolute saviour after I moaned to her about the fact that "I just can't do it", she knows how to make these things work check out her blog, you'll understand why.

I'm not entirely sure if it's just me but I've always been a little wary of purple-toned eyeshadows. I'm well-aware that on some skin tones like mine, it is very possible to look like someone has punched you in the face and, truth be told, nobody wants that. This particular eyeshadow shade from the Accessorize Bejewelled palette worked pretty well for this dramatic eye makeup and stopped the look from bordering on sore eyes! I would suggest that if you try a look like this for a night out, get some balance by creating a nude lip so that the eyes remain the key focus.

I hope to be able to do more looks like this for you in the future and if you have any suggestions for other blog posts, leave them in the comment section down below, I'll be more than happy to hear what you have to say!

XOXO

Hey my lovelies!

I am back with another post and I am so excited to show you what I've put together. I love designing outfits from the wide selection of items featured in the 'New In This week' section on the Topshop website. My Fall/Autumn outfits from last year was and still is one of my most popular posts so I was looking forward to creating another one - I must say, once I had finished putting all the looks together, I couldn't help but feel as if I needed every single one...I need help but Topshop seriously knows how to get my attention!

Have a look through and see if you can get some inspiration from these looks, you never know, you might end up buying them all!

XOXO

MONDAY:

From Top Left: 1. Tall Airtex Crop Tee, 2. Lace Detailed Bralet, 3. Moto Bleach Lucas Jeans, 4. Woven Strap Saddle Bag, 5. Rule Suede Mules.
I am in love with bralets and have always wanted to create an outfit that features a bralet peeking through an outer layer like this green crop top. I paired the top with some gorgeous moto jeans, a simple black saddle bag and black mules. I'm not entirely sure whether I could rock mules but I think this pair are so easy to style and you really can't go wrong with them.

TUESDAY:

From Left: 1. Scalloped Lace Detailed Body, 2. Petite Deep Blue Joni Jeans, 3. Large Snake Shopper, 4. Marie Platform Sandals.
This outfit just screams spring to me! I love the combination of the lace bodysuit and the gorgeous deep blue jeans that help to freshen up the entire look. The platform sandals are probably my most favourite pair of shoes from this post seeing as they seriously add class to the main features of the outfit and go well with the neutral toned shopper bag.

WEDNESDAY:

From Left: 1. Petite Drape Wrap Body, 2. Moto Stepped Hem Denim Skirt, 3. Leather Whip Stitch Clutch, 4. Navajo Strappy Mid Sandals.
I adore this look, I honestly do! I am completely in love with the combination of the drape bodysuit that just oozes class and the denim skirt that helps to tone down the look to make it slightly more casual. This would be perfect for those days when you want to have a nice walk in the park, after all, the shoes aren't too high and the clutch bag is a perfect size so it won't be getting in your way.

THURSDAY:

From Top Left: 1. Crochet Detailed Body, 2. Moto Acid Wash Dip Dyed Mom Short, 3. Large PU Backpack, 4. Harissa Knot Gladiator Sandals.

This is the ideal outfit for those lazy days where it's too hot to even move and you want to wear something that doesn't restrict you. The backpack shown here is super handy because it leaves your hands free so that you don't get sweaty palms when carrying around your purse and the sandals are both stylish but comfy for a chill day out. You can probably tell that I'm obsessed with bodysuits and couldn't help include quite a few in this post - I recently posted an entire look surrounding a black turtleneck bodysuit that I purchased from New Look which I will link here.

FRIDAY:

From Top Left: 1. Black Off-The-Shoulder Top by WYLDR, 2. Black Moroccan Maxi Skirt, 3. Verity Bag by Skinnydip, 4. Alegra Lace Ankle Boots.
Talk about boho! This outfit is stunning in my eyes and I'm not going to lie, I did make the effort to include a whole lot of lace detailed pieces to emphasise the more festival-inspired look that everyone is loving at the moment. I will say that although every item here is black and yes black attracts heat but the pieces are super light and will definitely not weigh you down. The shoes are absolutely gorgeous and I fell in love as soon as I laid eyes on them! The Morroccan detailed maxi skirt is certainly something that I have wanted to try out simply for the high-low feature but I haven't gotten around to purchasing one - soon maybe!

SATURDAY:

From Left: 1. V Bust Dress by Wal G, 2. White Hannah Cross Body Bag by Skinnydip, 3. Den Platform Sandal.
Yes, there is an obvious contrast between this outfit and the last (*giggles*). I thought about an outfit that would work for a beautiful, sunny Saturday and for some reason, the colour white appeared before my eyes - it is a very light and airy colour and can be paired with absolutely anything. I wanted the look to be quite feminine and flirty and this V-bust dress was certainly more than ideal for what I had in mind. The gold detail on the cross body bag added to the sophistication of the overall look and the platform sandals allowed for the outfit to look both dressed-up and dressed-down, whatever you fancy!

SUNDAY:

From Left: 1. Floral Plunge Midi Dress, 2. Clean Leather Clutch, 3. Mindy Two-Part Swirly Heels.
This dress is stun-ning! I love the floral print and the delicate detail that is emphasised through the thin cross-over straps at the back. There is a certain level of femininity that is conveyed here and the heels help to add to that flush of pink in the overall look. I pictured this as the perfect outfit for a cocktail night or a formal dinner where you can carry all of your necessities in the leather clutch bag featured above.
