So finally I have put together this makeup tutorial for you from my 'It's not me, it's you' post! I absolutely love this look and because I'm more of a neutral girl I do tend to go for the brown shades when it comes to eyeshadow - it can definitely make my eye colour pop! So here goes...

1. I first of all used my Maybelline Fit Me concealer to hide any dark circles and blemishes that I had, making sure to apply a bit on my eyelids to act as a primer and form a base for my eyeshadow.

2. Using the Soap & Glory 'The Perfect Ten' eyeshadow palette, I applied the colour Taupe Cat as my transition shade and then went in and applied Sunset all over my lids.

3. To define the outer corners of my eyes and give a bit more depth to them, I applied the dark brown shade called Brownie.

4. To highlight under my brows and in the inner corners of my eyes, I used Vanilla which, by the way, is super pigmented!

5. Using a brown eyeliner pencil, I drew a semi-thick line that I blended out to give a more faded look before applying the Benefit 'They're Real!' mascara.

6. For foundation I used my Avon Smooth Minerals powder foundation and for blusher I mixed No7 Soft Damson and Honey.

7. To finish off the face makeup I used the No7 highlighter in the shade Opal on my cheekbones as well as on the bridge of my nose.

8. Finally, for lips I applied a liquid lipstick by Screen Face in the shade Desert Rose and voilá!

So I have decided to start this new series on my blog called #Friday Favourites where I will be telling you all the things that I have loved this week! I'll talk about what I'm loving in terms of fashion, beauty, inspiration, media (social networking sites, YouTube etc.) and of course what is life without a random favourite!

If you have any favourites this week, feel free to comment on this blog post or even on my Instagram (@NotVicarious) and Twitter (@Not_Vicarious)!

Let's get into it!
FASHION

Is it just me or do you have an obsession with fringing too!?!?! ASOS are doing a really great job at making me broke and what with all of the Coachella fashion, fringing is definitely in with festival wear. Here are just a few of the pieces I am loving from the ASOS website:

BEAUTY

These Essie nail polishes are so beautiful and perfect for Spring! After the autumn and winter months it's really important to brighten things up, everything from your clothes to the colour you choose to wear on your nails.

Bahama Mama, Go Ginza and Stones n' Roses are calling your name, go get em'!!

INSPIRATION

The inspirational quote that I have been loving this week and...for quite a while as a matter of fact...

MEDIA

I recently found one of the most incredible YouTube channels - DevinSupertramp. They video the coolest tricks and adrenaline packed stunts ever, everything from bungee jumping, rope swinging, ziplining and sandboarding!!! Every stunt is perfectly shot and you almost feel as if you're doing it with them, which is good for those of you who, like me, are not brave enough to actually go through with it!

I have linked three of my favourite videos from their channel below, enjoy!

RANDOM! ;D

I feel as if this year is the Year of Barcelona, so many people that I know have planned trips to either attend festivals or to just spend some much needed time in the sun - this includes me!

I am incredibly excited about getting to see Barcelona with my own eyes, I have heard so much about it and I just want to go right now and experience the culture, the food and speak the language again! I spent all of my years in secondary school learning it, I can't let it go to waste now!

Also I am in need of a nice tan, one that makes me look more alive than I do now - I'm too pale ahhhh!!

A little bit of spring fashion for you! You know how much I love my slogan t-shirts, so it’s no surprise that I decided to grab this statement top from H&M’s Divided collection and make a post about it! I paired it with my trusty black jeans and these cool Converse trainers that I’ve had tucked away for quite some time – I think I needed the warmer weather to convince me to take them out again!!

Also whilst playing around with some of my makeup over the last few days, I came up with this simple and easily wearable look, not to mention the fact that I’m completely obsessed with the Screen Face liquid lipstick in Desert Rose. I’m mulling over the idea of a makeup tutorial for this look – it’s not anything fancy but let me know!

XOXO
