Turtleneck Bodysuits

Hey lovelies!

Oh. My. Goodness. I love bodysuits!! I didn't know that they could be so comfy to wear and so easy to pull off! They are PERFECT for those of you who like to tuck in their tops but hate it when they come out every other minute of the day. This can be a real pain even for me but thankfully the creation of these types of tops gives us all the opportunity to be free from this minor inconvenience.

This outfit along with my New Look bomber jacket and my Vans (alternative shoe option) is by far one of my favourites! Here, I decided to put on some red lipstick to make the look slightly more classy and the drop earrings added that touch of elegance that I needed to complete this look.

I am hoping to purchase quite a few more of these bodysuits, maybe in some other styles and colours. My sister recently bought an electric blue bodysuit as well as an open-back khaki bodysuit. They are both stunning and I'm incredibly jealous, to say the least, of her having them. I'll link them at the end of the post for you but, in the meantime, have a look at the images below to see how I style an outfit around my ribbed turtleneck bodysuit!

On My A-Game

Hey lovelies,

I am someone that always wants to be on their A-game and I feel like this t-shirt from New Look helps me to do exactly this! You've probably read from my more recent posts that I love a simple black top that can be worn with anything, especially for a casual day out.

I have a thing for black and white outfits. A few of my friends think that black and white are just the epitome of the absence of colour but I really don't see it that way. They are just two colours that can be paired with absolutely every of other shade - it's a win-win!

This outfit in particular lacked the obvious choice of black jeans (my go-to) but it still worked well with my dark denim jeans from New Look. I definitely recommend shopping at New Look for your jeans because there is a style, fit and colour to suit everyone. I personally (as you know) love their black jeans and am constantly re-purchasing them!

Enjoy the post and let me know what your favourite go-to pieces are for everyday wear, I'd love to hear from you!

XOXO

That Crochet Detail...

Hey you gorgeous people!

My exams are officially starting this week and I think that it's safe to say that I am incredibly scared but hopefully I'll be okay, positivity is key!

This outfit is one of my favourites by far! The dark denim jeans and the black crochet detail top, both from New Look, are new additions to my wardrobe and are a little different to the style that I usually wear.

Comfort for me is a very important factor when picking out clothes. For the most part, I choose casual t-shirts and black jeans so, to opt for something with a lot more detail, is certainly a good change! This is such a nice outfit to wear for spring because the top is made from a light material and the jeans create a nice contrast from the darker colours of winter.

The H&M pumps have made a comeback again and will be seen in a few more of my outfit posts coming up soon. I'm now going to dream about shopping whilst I continue learning quotes for my exam...woooooo!!

XOXO

Spring Makeup 2016

Hey lovelies!

I personally feel that I would be a lot better off if I had Carli Bybel by my side doing my makeup for me every single day. I've definitely learnt a lot over the years especially with regard to my makeup but I'm still not a pro...yet. This is why I have to settle (happily might I add) with the eyeshadow and highlight palette that Carli made with BH Cosmetics. It has featured in quite a few of my blog posts, simply because I cannot get enough of it!

I created this look using a variety of shades from the palette, focusing on colours that would be good for a cool spring night. My makeup looks are very subtle and really easy to do but I find that they work best for me. I will, however, be getting up some more dramatic looks for you all so that you can try out something a little different.

I hope that you enjoy the post and let me know in the comments down below if you decide to have a go at wearing this look, I'd love to hear what you think!

XOXO

The Dream...

I dream of a world where love comes naturally and the pain in my heart is non-existent.

I dream of being the one that others choose to go to on a whim.

I dream of holding the ones I love close to me knowing that they'll never leave.

I dream of not having to worry about how I need to act around people.

I dream of acceptance of the person that I have become.

I dream of the emptiness disappearing and the constant thought that I need to change gone.

I dream of someday making my dreams come true but until that day comes I'll sit and wait for you.

You the person who is unafraid.

The person who doesn't worry about what others think of her.

The one who knows that she is worth their time.

The girl that knows that she is funny enough, pretty enough, nice enough, clever enough, just...

Enough.

A little something I wrote about a personal experience of mine. I can tell you from now that this is something that I still struggle with. The constant need to feel as if you are worth a lot more to people than you hope can affect you in so many ways. I am here to tell you, you are not alone and it sounds so cliché but you're not.

XOXO
